Data coming in as a numeric value can be converted to text, based on lookup lists. An example would be a pump run status coming in as a 1 & 0. With a lookup list you can set 1=Running & 0=Stopped making data easier to consume.

Accessing Lookup Lists
From the Administration Menu, select Lookup List from the Miscellaneous section.
General Overview
When the Lookup list page opens, all the current lookup lists are displayed.
Each line indicates a different list in the system and can be expanded for more information.
The List Text shows what Text have been assigned for each value.
The Usage shows what devices and tags the list is in use on.
Each card also includes a three-dot ellipse that allows a user to edit the list.
Create a New Lookup List
In the upper right corner of the screen, select the icon to add a new Lookup List.
Enter the following:
Name - Enter a unique name identifying the list. For example, 1-Open/0-Closed
Based on - is a quick way to add existing text descriptions from other lookup lists in the system.
Text Descriptions - to add, click ADD TEXT DESCRIPTION from the right side of the screen.
Enter the following:
Value - the numeric value coming in.
Text Description - The text you wish to display instead of the numeric value.
Category - This is used for old lists and only editable by eLynx support.
Continue adding the text descriptions until all have been added.
Once complete, click SAVE in the upper right corner.
Edit a Lookup List
From the main Lookup List screen, navigate to the list you wish to edit and click the three-dot ellipse and select Edit. make the changes need and click SAVE in the upper right corner.
Note: Any Devices or Tags that are listed in the usage will receive the changes made.
Assign a Lookup List
Navigate to the Device and the then to the tag that will receive the lookup list.
From the Properties Tab, under the Data Characterization section select Lookup List
From the dropdown, select the appropriate list and click the green save icon to assign the list.
