Adding a Water Loss Detection Device

The 'Round the Clock' Water Loss Detection Devices can be added quickly in the Object Administration portion of the Admin menu.  This feature will have to be enabled via eLynx support prior to the first device, all subsequent devices will not require contacting support.

Adding a WLD 

From the Administration menu, select Object Administration.

From the Object Administration page, select Create Device.

From the New Device Step Menu, you will need to select 'Add eLynx Water Loss Detection Device' from the available templates. Note: if this template is not available please contact support.

The only items that will need to be entered are:

Device Name - must be unique to the system

IMEI - This number can be found on the device itself and will need to be entered here.

Hydrostatic Analysis - This is what the pressure reading is expected to be for the location of the device. Variance calculations will be based off of this value. If it is unknown, it can be left blank and entered at a later time.

Max Sensor PSI - Select the reading that matches the water pressure sensor included with your kit from the list of values.

You may also enter the Lattitude and Longitude for the device if you wish to see this device on Map View.

Once these fields are completed, select Summary at the bottom right of the screen and double check the device details before selecting Create Device

After selecting Create Device, you are taken back to the main Object Administration page where a message will show the device has been successfully created and is now in the list of available devices.
