The Group Graph tool allows you to quickly and easily graph multiple devices on the same axes. You can also create new graph configurations to instantly view charts that best suit your needs, with your desired data values, timeframe and customization.
Note: The appropriate security permissions must be granted to your user account by your site administrator, in order to utilize the eLynx Graphing functionality.
Summary Listing
Navigate to the Summary Listing page of the group you wish to graph, then click the Group Graph icon from the side menu.
Group Graph
If a default group graph configuration has been set, this will auto populate on the Group Graph page. If a default has not been set, the page will read No data found.
From the toolbar, you can select/view an existing configuration by clicking the Please select a configuration drop-down selection.
To create a new group graph configuration, click the three dots on the upper right corner and then click Create New.
Configuration Properties
Each Graph is built using at least one Section. Each Section is initially created with defaults for the Name, Duration, and Y-Axes settings. You are free to change these at any time, though we advise you to set these options from the beginning if possible. Once you are ready to begin editing, click the “Edit Contents” button to move into building the Section:
Contents Tab
From here, you can select the group or groups, devices, and/or tanks you'd like to see on the graph.
Select Data
Note: To find a tag TAT, go to the Properties tab of the tag you'd like to use, and find the "Tag Type".
Data Options
Format Data Series
On the Format Data Series Page, you can use the drag-and-drop handles on the left side of each Data Series to rearrange their order. You have the option of defining Color, Chart Type, Line Style, and Marker for each Value, and you can also add an Optional Display Name. All of these options will have defaults, so you don't need to make any adjustments. Clicking the “Format Graph” button at the bottom right will complete the configuration for the Section:
Additional Configuration Sections
To add/edit sections to your graph configuration, go to Configuration Properties, then click the drop-down selection under Configuration Sections. From here you can choose to:
- Create a new graph
- Copy an existing graph
- Set the graph you're on as your default
- Modify permissions (this will be managed via security groups)
- Save the graph as a .png image
- Delete the graph
- Rename the graph
