This guide will walk you through setting up an alarm schedule.
EX: You have a list of pumpers that only want to receive alarms on certain days at certain times. This will let you have more granular control over who gets what alarms when. If you don't see this option on your site, please contact eLynx support to have it enabled.
NOTE: This is accessible to admins only. Please contact an admin on your account to have them set this up.
First, navigate to the ‘Alarm Schedule Administration’ listed under the Alarms & Notification section of Admin tools.
Once selected you can select ‘Add Alarm Schedule’ from the top mean and begin creating your schedule
For the following on call schedule you would configure Tech 1 as follows:
**NOTE for the Alarm schedules to work you must have the same duration and same repeat interval. You cannot have an on-call schedule that changes durations and repeat intervals throughout. It must be standardized. For example, Tech 1 can’t be on call 6 days to start his rotation then 18 days later be on call for 2 days then 6 days again 5 days later. Must be 6 days on call repeating every 18 days as shown below.
**Also keep in mind when setting your repeat interval, it must begin from the first day of on call. So, in the example above for Tech 1 his on-call rotation starts April 5th then again on April 23rd, 18 days later.
Once all your schedules are created you are now ready to create Alarm Schemes. Go through your normal procedures on Alarm Scheme creations and when you get to the Notification section select the box for ‘Use Schedules Notifications’
For each Schedule selected you must also select a corresponding notification list to go with it. If you do not have a notification list, you can create one from this screen as well.
