Adding a WLD to the eLynx Application

The 'Round the Clock' Water Loss Detection Devices can be added quickly from your cellphone using the Object Administration portion of the Admin menu.  This feature will have to be enabled via eLynx support prior to the first device and all subsequent devices will not require contacting support.

This step only creates the device in the system. Alarms will need to be setup on the desktop application after the initial setup. To help with that, click here.

Adding a WLD via Mobile Application

From the Main Menu, select Administration.

Within the Administration Menu select, Add/Remove Devices in Object Administration

Next, select the in the upper right corner to create a new device. and select the Water Loss Detection Unit in Device Template

Enter the following data:

Device Name- must be unique to the system

IMEI - This number can be found on the device itself and will need to be entered here.

Max SensorPSI - Select the reading that matches the water pressure sensor included with your kit from the list of values.

Hydrostatic Analysis - This is what the pressure reading is expected to be for the location of the device. Variance calculations will be based off of this value. If it is unknown, it can be left blank and entered at a later time.

You may also enter the Lattitude and Longitude for the device if you wish to see this device on Map View.

Once all the data has been entered, there is a save button that will appear in the upper right corner.

Once saved, the device will start communicating within 15 minutes, if you wish to shorten this time, you can power cycle the device to have it show up immediately.
