On very rare occasions the eLynx Mobile application may present an "Update" message at the top of the screen, but clicking on the "Update" button does not install the update (or remove the pop-up message.)
In order to force the update to install and allow the application to proceed you will need to remove and re-install the application.
How to uninstall from your home screen
Android Devices
- Press and hold the eLynx icon on the home screen.
- When the menu opens select "Remove" or "Uninstall" (varies depending on phone manufacturer.)
- Proceed to Android installation below to re-install the app.
iOS Devices
- Press and hold the eLynx App icon until the menu appears.
- Select "Delete Bookmark" from the menu.
- Click the "Delete" button to confirm.
- Proceed to iOS installation below to re-install the app.
Re-installing the app
Android Device Installation
- From your Android device, open your Chrome Browser.
- Navigate to https://elynxapp.elynxtech.com/login
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top left corner.
- Tap 'Add to home screen' and a shortcut icon will appear on your home screen.

- On your Android device, open Chrome Browser
- Go to https://elynxapp.elynxtech.com/login
- Tap Install.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
iOS Device Installation
- From your iOS Device, open your Safari Browser.
- Navigate to https://elynxapp.elynxtech.com/login
- Tap on the share icon in the toolbar.
- When share options appear, tap on 'Add to home screen'.
- Optionally, change the shortcut name and see the shortcut appear.
