In the coming weeks, we will be rolling out a new version of our Mobile application. This article aims to provide a brief overview of the new Mobile app, including the improvements we’ve made to navigation.
The styling of the app has been updated to match our full-site Application. First, you’ll notice we have a new Login screen. While the look is different, you will use the same email address and password you’ve always used to login to eLynx:
While we were updating the look of the app, we also worked to simplify the navigation by including a new global toolbar at the bottom. This toolbar includes options to view Group Hierarchy, Search, and Settings. It remains available on all pages as you browse through the app:
We’ve also updated the Group Hierarchy with a new styling that keeps you on a single view as you move down through the Group Layers. Groups that have subgroups under them will get a plus icon out to the right. Tapping this icon will expand the child groups, allowing you to drill down. This new system allows you to navigate from a sub-group back up to a higher level without paging back through each Group:
Tapping the Group name will take you to the Group Summary page for that Group, where you can choose to view Alarm information, Aggregate Values, or jump to the Summary Listing to look at your Devices. Note that Summary Listing has a new look that includes controls for scrolling left and right through the available columns of data:
Along with easy access to the Group tree, the toolbar also provides easier access to the Search feature. Search can be used to look for Devices, Groups and Wells throughout all Groups you have access to, saving you time spent browsing to find a specific item:
