The Device Trending tool allows you to quickly and easily run trends for a single device (see Group Trending to trend multiple devices). You can also create new trend configurations to instantly view charts that best suit your needs, with your desired data values, trimeframe and customization.
Note: The appropriate security permissions must be granted to your user account by your site administrator, in order to utilize the SCADALynx Trending functionality.
Navigate to the Device Details page of the device you wish to trend, then click the Device Trending icon from the side menu.
You can also navigate to the trending functionality from a Summary Listing page, by clicking the Device Trending icon in the Shortcuts column, or right-click next to the Device Name.
Note: If your Shortcuts column is missing, you can enable this feature by going to Settings in User Profile & Settings.
If default tags have been selected (Defaults tab of the Device Details page), or a default trend configuration has been set to the device, this will auto populate on the Device Trending page. If neither exist, the page will read No data found.
From the toolbar, you can select/view an existing configuration by clicking the drop-down selection.
To create a new trend configuration, click the three small dots in the upper right corner, and select "Create New"
